unveil Landscapes2 interactive website
New Internet site brings growth and preservation together for Chester County
This week, the Chester County Board of Commissioners has unveiled the new long-range policy plan for Chester County entitled Landscapes2. Employing new technologies, Landscapes2 is a web-based, interactive site that can be updated and enhanced with the changing dynamics of Chester County.
Landscapes2 is the culmination of two years of planning and participation by county government, municipalities, community interest groups – and the public – that led to the establishment of a blueprint for bringing growth and preservation together in Chester County.
A key part of the new Landscapes2 website is the electronic publication of the Chester County Comprehensive Policy Plan document. This publication sets out three initiatives for guiding the future of the county, detailing the policies and actions that will be implemented to accomplish the plan.
You are invited to witness the new plan at www.landscapes2.org. The website and its user-friendly format are designed to inform individuals about planning issues and serve as a resource to address planning issues throughout the county.
