This program will orient new and invigorate experienced municipal officials (and others) in Chester County about the challenging climate for local planning and plan implementation. Attendees will learn about the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, which can help with municipal and multi-municipal planning and regulation. We will unveil the web-based Landscapes2, Chester County’s long range plan. You will discover ways to integrate its goals into your municipality’s plan. You will also hear from fellow municipal officials about their efforts to build local capacity and achieve planning objectives using innovative tools, collaborating with public, private, and non-profit groups, and leveraging local dollars with grant funding.
