Topics
Landscapes2 will consist of 10 topics. These topics are as prescribed by the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, Article III:
- A statement of goals and objectives
- A plan for meeting housing needs
- A plan for transportation and circulation
- A plan for land use
- A plan for community facilities and utilities
- A plan for the protection of natural and historic resources
- A plan for energy conservation
- A plan for agriculture
- A plan for a reliable water supply (Watersheds)
- A plan for open space preservation (Linking Landscapes)
The update will also include the following action items to assist in the implementation of the plan:
- A strategy for implementation – short & long range
- A statement of compatibility and consistency with local jurisdictions
