Community Profiles
The Community Profiles are a series of six books presenting information for specific communities within Chester County. The information is presented in seven topical sections: population, housing, land use and development, transportation, economic development, government, and community facilities.
Defining the Communities
For the purpose of the community profiles, Chester County has been divided into six communities based on school districts. Each community consists of one to three school districts and includes the Chester County municipalities within those school districts. The public schools provide a source of geographic identity for residents beyond the area of the municipality.
